Salary / Benefits
While on service as a resident, the trainee will be paid a salary
commensurate with their level of training.
During the second and third years, while
the trainee is enrolled in the School of Medicine, full tuition will be paid by the resident.
Financial aid is also available.
Salary Schedule
Program Year 1 – PGY 1 Salary
Program Year 2 – No Salary (Medical School)
Program Year 3 – July-Feb No Salary (Medical School), then PGY
2 Salary Starting March
Program Year 4 – PGY 3 Salary
Program Year 5 – PGY 4 Salary
Program Year 6 – PGY 5 Salary
Employee benefits are included while functioning as a resident.
Residents are covered by the medical Student health plan during their medical school training.
