Public Relations
The Public Relations manager is responsible for coordinating official correspondence from the medical clinic. This involves reminding board members of upcoming meetings, attending all board meetings and keeping and distributing minutes, and producing any other correspondence as the need arises (thank you notes, etc.). He or she is also responsible for assisting Road Race directors with publicity for the race. The public relations manager may also be involved in publicity and organization of clinic-sponsored outreach activities in the community, such as health fairs and information sessions. The Health Center Administration is extremely particular about the use and utilization of UCONN’s seals, names and colors. In the production of letterheads, notes, and signs regarding the clinic and UCONN, clearance MUST be obtained from UCONN’s PR office. This is with special consideration to Road Race materials. The race coordinators must work through the PR manager to access this office.
